Dear Valued Patient:

We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.

Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable. We want to tell you about the infection control procedures we follow in our practice to keep patients and stay safe.

Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agencies’ recommendations.

You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. For example:

- Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You'll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office.

- We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office. You will also find some in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use as needed.

- You may see that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children's toys and so forth, since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.

- Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you're offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.

- We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office at 704-364-9000.

Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors and friends.

Sincerely,

Dr. Porter and Team

Before and after smile makeover

Smile Makeover

Cosmetic dental imperfections can detract from your smile, but a single treatment may not be adequate for the best results.

A smile makeover is a personalized treatment plan that specifically addresses multiple cosmetic concerns.

So how can a smile makeover transform my smile?

Before and after smile makeover

A Personalized Treatment Designed to Revitalize Your Smile

Boost in Confidence.
Correcting even minor blemishes and imperfections can result in a beautiful new smile and provides an extra boost in confidence.

Personalized Treatment.
No two smiles are the same and no two smile makeovers are the same. This means that we design your smile based on your specific goals and wishes.

Your Decision.
Whether you are looking for quick results or if you are in a financial position that will not allow for multiple treatments at this moment, we can plan your treatments to fit your schedule and your budget.

Sounds great, doesn't it? Let us explain more...

99.7% of people say a smile is a social asset.

74% of people believe a bad smile hurts careers.

*According to the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

You are in the driver's seat... and in control of your smile

Some patients choose to start slow with their treatments, correcting minor discolorations or chips, while others have the goal to completely transform their smile.

Since a smile makeover is all about customization and personalization, you get to play a huge role in achieving your smile goals.

You are in control of your smile!

How Various Treatments Will Help to Improve Your Smile

If you can envision an improved smile, we can help you achieve it.

Treatment Cost Varies Substantially

A simple combination, such as at-home whitening and dental bonding, could cost as little as $650. But more extensive treatment could cost thousands.

Dental insurance plans do not cover cosmetic procedures. However, if part of your makeover has a restorative purpose, you may receive partial coverage. Dental crowns, for example, can enhance the appearance of a tooth while also providing support following treatments such as a root canal.

Technology, Experience, and Accommodations

Level of Experience

In general, dentists with more experience will charge more for treatment than a less experienced practitioner. While you may save money up front by working with a dentist new to the industry, you are more likely to experience outcomes that meet or exceed your expectations when you choose an experienced dentist.

Advanced Technology

Your dentist may use advanced imaging technology, such as digital impressions or virtual smile design software, to plan and perform your treatment. Keep in mind that advanced treatment methods may cost more than traditional techniques.

Sedation Options

For most patients, cosmetic alterations are performed under local anesthesia with minimal discomfort. However, if you are anxious about your treatment, many dentists offer sedation. This option will increase the total cost of treatment.

Investing in Your Smile Can Have Priceless Effects

Minimal Upkeep

The effects of a smile makeover can last for years with simple check-ups and dedicated at-home dental hygiene practices.

More Smiles, Less Stress

You're more likely to smile when you're happy with your appearance. Smiling has been proven to actually lower stress.

Improve Your Entire Appearance

A beautiful smile can project a more confident persona, complement your best features, and even make you look younger.

A Smile You Can Take Confidence In Get Started Today!

Unlike a full mouth reconstruction, a smile makeover is specifically designed to deliver a brighter, flashier, and more attractive smile.

Some patients achieve their goals in two or three treatments, while others require additional appointments spread out over a longer period of time. How you achieve the smile you desire is completely up to your time, budget, and goals.

Don't let cosmetic dental imperfections affect your self-confidence and detract from the natural beauty of your smile. A new, enhanced, and more beautiful smile awaits you. Contact us to set up your consultation.
